NAS Fallon

NAS Fallon is a great base...its located in a small farming town, so you get the small down home town feeling! But we are still close to the bigger citys, Reno is only 62 miles away and so is Carson City. The best part of Fallon is its one of the NAVY'S best kept secrets! The town's people are so nice and welcoming..I feel like i'm back home where I grew up. The housing here at NAS is very nice aswell and very kept up. The weather here in Fallon is hot in the summer and it gets cold in the winter..but of couse we are in the high desert. Fallon is located in an area where you are close to everything. For example San Fransisco is only 4 hours away and Lake Tahoe is only an hour and a half away. I would reccommend Fallon to anyone who loves the small towns and the great outdoors!
